What is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback is an effective method to improve your mental health and alleviate symptoms from ADHD, PTSD, brain injuries, and anxiety. It allows your brain to “see” itself in real-time. Singing in the shower is much more fun than any other room in the house because you can hear yourself and adjust your voice. In a way, this is how neurofeedback works. Real time feedback of the brain’s energy allows the brain and nervous system to see itself and auto-calibrate for a more efficient life experience.
How Does Neurofeedback Work?
Neurofeedback alerts the brain to real time changes in its dynamic state and works to train the subconscious brain and the central nervous system to be flexible and resilient. The process is simple, and the results are significant.
When given information about how it is spending energy inefficiently the brain starts adjusting. Substantial benefits are the result of cumulative sessions, but the relaxing effects of a single session are often felt just 10-15 minutes into the initial session.
What are the Benefits of Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback can help you feel calmer; give you increased mental clarity, motivation, and focus; help alleviate fears to give you a better response to situations; and give you a general feeling of ease.
