What is Nutrition Response Testing?
Nutrition Response Testing is a non-invasive test that uses organ reflex points on the surface of the body. These reflexes are the nervous systems way of indicating how your organs and systems of the body are functioning. If there is a stressor or malfunction of an organ, the nervous system reflex will respond differently.
Some stressors include:
- Toxicity
- Immune issue
- Nutritional deficiency
- Food sensitivity
- Stress
How Does It Work?
Dr. Lain will have you lie flat on a table. Typically she will have you raise your arm that is closest to her, put slight pressure against it and have you resist. While this is happening, she will push lightly on different organs and glands of the body. As she pushes, if there is an issue, your arm will drop slightly. This means that the body is sending a signal to your brain to protect the organ and not the arm.
Once the test is done, Dr. Lain will use the results to make a specific treatment plan for you. This will include whole foods, vitamins, and supplements. You may also be required to change life style and eating habits.
